As Americans, we possess many freedoms. There is the freedom to think and to say what we think. The freedom to worship as we please. The freedom to move about. The freedom to try, and the freedom to fail. The freedom to stand up straight and look the world in the eye. These freedoms were not of our doing. They were here long before all of us were born. Our forefathers fought to win them. We have four guarantees these freedoms will remain, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, our fellow Americans, and ourselves. This month, we voted to ensure these freedoms endure, and we celebrated Veteran’s Day to remember the men and women who sacrificed for them. No one could ask for more.
