Camp PMI, Goshen (Webelos)

Goshen is the National Capital Area Council's long-term resident summer camp located on 4,000+ acres in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. There are six separate camps on the shores of 450-acre Lake Merriweather. Owned by BSA's National Capital Area Council, Camp P.M.I. is one of the six camps that make up Goshen Scout Reservation. P.M.I., a camp for boys entering the 4th and 5th grades, is located in the Shenandoah Valley near Goshen, Virginia. Every summer, 1800 scouts and leaders visit P.M.I. for a week of fun, adventure, hiking, and scouting. The staff hosts a program which consists of aquatics, nature, scout craft, field sports, and handicraft activities, plus a camp store and instruction in first aid.

Camp Goshen is accredited annually by the BSA and meets State of Virginia mandates. Scouts attend with their unit. Activity badges happen naturally as part of the program.
